These terms apply to your use of the Stockwatcher dashboard at stockwatcher247.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Not investment advice
Stockwatcher is an informational tool, not investment, financial, tax or legal advice. Market figures, economic indicators and the automated assessment are sourced from third-party public endpoints without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness or timeliness — US equities, ETFs and index futures are typically delayed about 15 minutes. Verify any figure against an official source before acting on it, and consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
2. Accounts
Creating an account is optional; the dashboard works without one, storing data only in your browser. If you sign in with email or Google, you're responsible for keeping access to that email address or Google account secure — that's how sign-in is controlled. Provide accurate information and don't share your account with others.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes others' rights;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site, its accounts, or the services it relies on (Supabase, Finnhub, TradingView, Google);
- Scrape or systematically extract data from the site at a volume or frequency that degrades service for other users;
- Reverse engineer or circumvent the site's access or rate-limiting controls.
4. Your own API keys
You may optionally add your own Finnhub API key for live quotes. That key is stored only in your browser and used to call Finnhub directly; your use of it is governed by your own agreement with Finnhub, and we are not responsible for that service.
5. Service availability
Stockwatcher is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available." We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site, including features, data sources or account storage, at any time and without notice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stockwatcher and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on the information it displays, including trading or investment losses, data inaccuracies, or service interruptions.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will update the date above.
